Thu, 19 Apr 2012 17:53:30 +0000 http://cannabishealthnewsmagazine.com/?p=1686#comment-1116 The First Amendment of the United States prohibits the making of any law respecting 1) establishment of religion 2) impeding the free exercise of religion 3) abridging the freedom of speech 4) infringing on the freedom of the press 5) interfering with the right to peaceably assemble 6) prohibiting the petitioning for a governmental redress of grievances Read critically and not selfishly and you will recognize that CU Boulder is attempting to prohibit interfering with the right to peaceably assemble and abridging the freedom of speech by attempting to close part of a public university for that purpose. People who claim that this protest will devalue their college degree are ignorant and simply repeating what they are told. Whatever happened to critical thinking and rational thought?
